A key competence and learning objective for course participants is the ability to draft a strategy and a master plan for a coastal area taking into account economic, ecological and social aspects as well as current policies. In addition to the subject-specific knowledge and methods, courses should further aim to foster transversal skills at various levels. These essential skills include virtual teamwork and creative application of ICT tools for international cooperation, team building and democratic leadership, analytical thinking, intercultural communication and creativity or rather creating a community of learners |
